Our History
We were established in 1970 as Housing Authority of the City of Klamath Falls. In 1975 we became South-Central Oregon Housing Association, Inc by action of the Klamath County Commissioners to address the housing needs of lower income households for all of Klamath County residents.
We were organized in 1976 as a public corporation under Housing Authority Law of the State of Oregon (ORS Chapter 456). KHA is a municipal corporation, a political subdivision and a quasi-government agency.
A cooperation agreement between Klamath and Lake counties was signed in 1976.
